Scotties Classroom Excellence Honored by Conference

39 Student-Athletes Named to CCS Academic All-Conference Teams

ATLANTA, Ga.  –  An impressive 39 different student-athletes from Agnes Scott College have been named to the 2023-2024 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Academic All-Conference Team for maintaining at least a 3.30 grade point average (GPA) or better throughout the 2023-24 academic year.
 
Among the honorees, student-athletes with a 3.9 GPA or higher were considered for the President's Honor Roll. Six Scotties achieved this remarkable achievement, including the following:
-    Mari Walsh, Cross Country
-    Trinavy Le, Soccer
-    Ashlee Parkey, Soccer
-    Cassie Soldo, Soccer
-    Fabiola Garcia, Tennis
-    Madison Stidum, Volleyball
 
"These student-athletes exemplify what it means to be a student first, excelling both in the classroom and on the field," said CCS Commissioner Beth Vansant. "Their dedication to academic excellence and athletic prowess sets a high standard, and we are honored to celebrate their achievements. Congratulations to all the honorees for their hard work and commitment!"
 
This was the second season that the CCS has honored the academic achievements of student-athletes from nine NCAA Division III member institutions across Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
 
Honorees were selected from the conference's 14 championship sports.
