ATLANTA, Ga. - Sophomore outside hitter
Madison Stidum became the first-ever Agnes Scott College volleyball player to be named to the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) All-Conference Team, being named to the second team after an exceptional individual season. It is the first time since 2017 that an Agnes Scott volleyball player has been named to an all-conference team, following Resa Knott's recognition in 2017 when she was named to the USA South West Division's second team.
Stidum led the Scotties in total kills (245), kills per set (3.27), points (303.5), and points per set (4.05). She also helped out her team defensively, as she led the team in blocks (43.0) and was second in digs (215). Throughout the season, Stidum led the Scotties with some incredible standout performances, including a 32 kill performance against Trinity Baptist College (9/14/24) and logging 7 double-doubles in kills and digs.
The Scotties wrapped up their third season in the Collegiate Conference of the South, highlighted by a straight-set win over Wesleyan College, as well as picking up wins against Trinity Baptist and Trinity College (Fla.). Stidum and the rest of the Scotties will enter the offseason with an eye on improving on this season's successes and moving up the standings of the CCS.
