The Agnes Scott College soccer team defeated Judson College today 2-0. The win marks the first career win for first year head coach Rosie Davis. Agnes Scott's record improves to 1-2.

Junior Maddie Shaul scored first 26 minutes into the first half with an assist from junior Helene Somda. The scored remained at 1-0 until the 87th minute when junior Yaritza Encarnacion scored unassisted. Sophomore Sydney Holstad played 90 minutes in goal and recorded four saves. The Scotties outshot Judson 17-9, with nine SOG to Judson's four.

"We played a solid game for our first win of the season.  I think we got better as the game progressed, and we did a better job of possessing the ball and setting the tempo.  We'll look to improve on this win as we prepare for Oglethorpe next week" said coach Davis.

The soccer team returns to action next Thursday at home against Oglethorpe at 5 p.m.
