Box Score The Agnes Scott College volleyball team concluded their season late this evening at the NCAA Regional Volleyball Tournament hosted by Emory University. This marks the first time in school history that the Agnes Scott volleyball team has made it to the NCAA Tournament. The Scotties faced the No. 7-ranked Emory University Eagles. The Eagles won 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-10) improving their overall record to 31-4 while the Scotties wrapped up with a mark of 11-18.
Emory hit .413 (39-8—75) in the contest, the seventh time this year that it turned in an effort of .400 or higher, while limiting ASC to -.048 (13-16—63).  The Eagles finished with 30 digs to the Scotties' 23 and enjoyed a 6-3 margin in total blocks.
Junior Lauren Aikens led the Scotties with five kills, two blocks and three digs. Senior Morgan Bender closed out her collegiate career with two kills, two digs and one block. Sophomore Shakirah Dodson led the Scotties with nine assists and eight digs.
"We knew that playing Emory would be a challenge and I am really proud of the team for the effort that they put in today and throughout the season" commented head coach Catherine Geerlings. "I look forward to seeing our players return next year for another successful season."

Seniors Jynnah Radford #14 and Morgan Bender #17 closed out their collegiate career at the NCAA Regional Tournament this evening.
