The four seniors on Agnes Scott's basketball team ended their season today with a 53-51 loss to Salem College in the semi-final game of the conference tournament. 

With about three minutes remaining Salem College was ahead 45-51. Tiffany Jones closed the gap significantly with back-to-back three-pointers. Salem made one layup to bring the score to 48-53. Shavonne Orr scored the final points with another three-pointer bringing the final score to 51-53.

Genefine Sapateh and Tiffany Jones were the leading scorers with 13 points apiece.  Morgan Cooper added 10 points. Senior Arielle Register was noticeably on the bench for most of the game after suffering an ankle injury playing at Salem last weekend. Having her at full capacity would have undoubtedly guaranted a win for Agnes Scott.

In the other semi-final game Huntingdon College defeated Spelman College 97-65.  Huntingdon and Salem will play in the championship game tomorrow at 1 p.m. CST with the winner advancing to the NCAA tournament.
