Box Score LAGRANGE, Ga.—Agnes Scott women's basketball dropped its series finale with LaGrange College on Saturday afternoon at Mariotti Gymasium. Musumaulai Galoia (Hephzibah, Ga.) finished with a career-high 12 boards despite the losing effort as the Panthers' fast-paced offense created havoc for the second day in a row.
The Panthers improve to 2-0 on the season while the Scotties dip to 0-2 following opening weekend.
Shay Sweat (Lawrenceville, Ga.) led the Scotties in scoring for the second game in a row, scoring a season-high eight points in 36 minutes of work. Erika McLeod (Snellville, Ga.) also had a season-high seven points, while corralling seven caroms. Galoia rounded out the rest of the scoring for the Scotties with five points.
Gracie Brunel led all scorers with 21 points, while Jahpera McEachin notched a double-double for the second day in row with 13 points and 11 assists.
The Scotties are back in action next weekend when they head to Montgomery, Ala. to take on the Huntingdon College Hawks for a Friday-Sunday USA South weekend series.
