MACON, Ga. - Agnes Scott College lived up to their top seed in the Great South Athletic Conference opening round, overwhelming Finlandia (8-33, 0-1 GSAC), 9-0 in 5 innings.  Casey Arnold picked up the win on the mound for the Scotties (11-24, 6-3 GSAC).

The Scotties advance to the winner's bracket championship game against Salem College, who earlier knocked the host, Wesleyan College, into the loser's bracket with a 10-0 shutout in 5 innings as well.
