DECATUR, Ga. - The Agnes Scott College basketball team hung tough in the first half of play, before an injury to leading scorer and rebounder, Kisha Simpson, took the wind out of the sails of the Scotties (1-6), as LaGrange College (5-2) pulled away in the second half for a 66-35 victory.

In the first half of play, the Scotties managed to keep the game within reach, behind 7 points from Jalexis Teemer, and 5 each from Brittaney Howard and Grace Keheley.  In the second half, however, the Scotties would go cold from the field, shooting 4-for-28 from the field, and the Panthers would roll through the second half.

Laniqua Collins led the Scotties with 9 points and 9 rebounds, as the team struggled with the height difference between the two teams, as LaGrange would outrebound the Scotties, 53-34.

The Scotties will return to action on Saturday, December 5, when they travel to Pensacola Christian.
