Agnes Scott defeated Wesleyan College today 8-0 in six innings in game four of the Great South Athletic Conference Tournament. 

The Scotties scored two runs in the first inning followed by a four run streak in the second inning.  The Scotties led 7-0 at the bottom of the third.  Neither team scored in the fourth or fifth innings. The Scotties finally put the run rule into effect with another run in the bottom of the sixth.

The Scotties outhit Wesleyan nine to three.

Junior Kat Riale hit 2-for-4 including a double and batted in three RBIs. First-year Alliyah Williams hit 2-for-2 including a double with one run and one RBI.  Junior Aimee McKibbin hit 1-for-3 including a triple and scored one run. Junior Ashley Monsrud also hit 1-for-3 with one run. First-year Kelsey Daigneau hit 1-for-3 with one run.  Alyssa Millikin and Casey Arnold scored runs and junior Megan Snipes scored two runs.

On the mound, Casey Arnold got her fifth win (5-6). She pitched two innings and allowed one hit and one walk.  First-year Alliyah Williams pitched two innings and allowed one walk while striking out one. Senior Julia Blattner pitched two innings and allowed two hits, one walk and struck out one.

Agnes Scott will play tomorrow at 2 p.m.
