The Agnes Scott softball team lost two games to LaGrange College this afternoon at home, 6-0 and 12-1. With the wins, LaGrange improves to 16-6 while the Scotties fall to 12-10.

Over the two games, junior Alyssa Millikin batted .500 going 2-for-4 including a double and a triple and scoring one run. Junior Tiffany Cain batted in the RBI. Junior Aimee McKibbin had one stolen base.  On the field, juniors Ashley Monsrud and Alyssa Millikin had zero errors and a double play.

First-year Holly Jones pitched five innings in game one allowing three hits, two runs and two walks.  Julia Blattner closed out game one allowing four hits, four runs and two walks.  In game two, Casey Arnold pitched 2.2 innings allowing eight hits, seven runs and one walk. First-year Alliyah Williams pitched 2.1 innings allowing one hit, five runs, four walks and striking out six.

The Scotties will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Truett McConnell for a doubleheader. The next home game is Wednesday March 26 against Wesleyan (Ga.).
