Box Score 2 The Agnes Scott College softball team defeated Wesleyan College Monday evening. The two teams finished the halted game from March 21, Agnes Scott won 21-1. In the doubleheader, the Scotties won 21-4 and 13-0.
In game one of the doubleheader, senior Melanie Ennis went 3-for-3 with three hits, three runs, and a team high of five RBI's. Ennis also hit a home run. Sophomore Alyssa Millikin went 3-for-5 with three hits, two runs and two RBI's; she also took one stolen base.
Julia Blatter pitched two innings allowing two hits, two runs and striking out two. Tiffany Cain got the win. In three innings she allowed two hits, two runs and struck out two.
In game two, Ennis went two-for-two with two hits, two runs and two RBI's. First-year Casey Arnold went 3-for-4 with three hits, one run and two RBI's. Sophomore Kat Riale went 3-for-3 with three hits, one run and one RBI. Sophomore Ashley Monsrud went 2-for-3 with two hits, two runs and two RBIs. Senior Shivani Ghodadra was 1-for-3 with a triple in the third inning.
The softball team is now 11-7 overall and 7-3 in conference. They will play again on Wednesday at home against LaGrange College starting at 6 p.m.
