The Captains of Christopher Newport defeated the Agnes Scott Scotties today, 22-3, on the Scotties' home field. 

Senior Alicia Logan scored first in the opening minute, but the Captains scored 14 consecutive goals to end the half 14-1. 

The second half started with a goal by CNU followed by another goal from Logan, bringing the score to 15-2.  The Scotties scored once more in the second half, this time from junior Lexi Pulice-Farrow to bring the final score to 22-3.

Sophomore Nastacia Pereira played 60 minutes in goal and recorded four saves. The Captains outshot the Scotties four to one and won twice as many draw controls.

The Scotties will return to action this Sunday against Methodist at noon.
