Getting their second win this year, the Agnes Scott lacrosse team defeated Methodist University today at home 22-11. Senior Alicia Logan led the scoring drive for the Scotties with seven goals. First-year Monique Novoa scored six goals. Also scoring was junior Caroline Recio with four, senior Clara Kienzle and junior Lexi Pulice-Farrow with two each and junior Brittany Starr with one. The Monarchs were led by Hope Motahari with seven goals.

Logan started off the scoring with a goal in the first minute.  By the end of the first half Agnes Scott was up 15-4.  In the second half, Methodist scored the first two goals but Novoa got the Scotties back in the game scoring her fourth goal of the game. In the end the Scotties won 22-11.

Sophomore Staci Pereira played 60 minutes for Agnes Scott and recorded five saves.  Ashley Cannon in the goal for the Monarch also grabbed five saves.

Agnes Scott will get a short break and will return to action at home on March 20 against LaGrange College.
