The Agnes Scott College basketball team defeated the Pioneers of Wesleyan College today at home. Prior to the game Agnes Scott seniors Genefine Sapateh, Tiffany Jones, Arille Register and Courtney Creer were honored.  At half-time the senior cheerleaders, Tierraney Richardson, Erica Howard, Brittany Wilson and Jeong-Im were honored.

Leading scorers for the game were Genefine Sapateh with 20 points and 12 rebounds, Arielle Register with 13 points and Tiffany Jones with 11 points.

The Scotties outshot Wesleyan 38% to 28% from the floor and had triple the rebounds 51 to 16.  Wesleyan's leading scorer was Kellie Bacon with 15 points.

The Scotties close out their home game schedule 11-1 with their only home loss coming when LaGrange visited on December 8th.  Overall the Scotties are 13-8. They will close out the season on the road at Covenant on the 13th and at Salem on the 16th followed by the GSAC Tournament at Huntingdon on February 22-24.
