Box Score The 12th ranked Emory Eagles soared past Agnes Scott 74-38 this evening on the Scotties' home court.
Agnes Scott got off to a slow start scoring 14 points in the first half with seven of those points coming from sophomore Breonca Hackney. The Scotties fared slightly better in the second half scoring 24 points with seven of those from first-year Miranda Arnold.
Overall, Hackney led the Scotties with 10 points and six rebounds. Arnold contributed nine points and four rebounds. Rounding out the starting lineup, first-year Care Bacon and senior Janell McKinney added six points each and sophomore Courtney Kelson tallied five points. Bacon also led the Scotties with five steals and four assists.
The Scotties will get a short break for Christmas before traveling to Boston to face Simmons College and Fisher College on January 4-5, 2014. Agnes Scott's first home game in the new year will be on Wednesday January 15 as they take on Berry College at 6 p.m. ET.
