Box Score The Agnes Scott College Basketball team defeated Covenant College tonight 62-37. Senior Tiffany Jones led the offense with 18 points followed closely by 16 points from Arielle Register and 12 points from Genefine Sapateh.
Tiffany Jones started off the night with a successful three-pointer, her first of four made that night. Register also made four three-pointers during the game. Agnes Scott shot 32% from the floor and 70% from the free throw line compared to 40% and 62% from Covenant. Agnes Scott also led in rebounds 42 to 25.
The Scotties are now 9-7 overall and leading the conference 4-0. Agnes Scott will face Huntingdon in Alabama on Saturday and will return home on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup against Toccoa Falls.
