ATLANTA, Ga. (April 18, 2025)Â - The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced the bracket and seedings for the 2025 CCS Women's Tennis Championship Tournament, which will take place Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The postseason action begins Thursday afternoon with two quarterfinal matchups. No. 3 seed Huntingdon (8-6; 5-2 CCS) will open tournament play at 2 p.m. against No. 6 seed Agnes Scott (2-9; 2-5 CCS). Following that contest, No. 4 seed Maryville (8-5; 4-3 CCS) takes on No. 5 seed Covenant (4-14; 3-4 CCS) to round out the opening day.

Advancing teams will move on to the semifinals on Friday, April 25, where the tournament's top two seeds await.
Piedmont (20-2; 7-0 CCS) enters the championship as the No. 1 seed after an unbeaten run through conference play. The Lions will meet the winner of the Maryville–Covenant match. Meanwhile, No. 2 seed Asbury (11-4; 6-1 CCS) will face off against the victor of the Huntingdon–Agnes Scott quarterfinal.

The tournament will conclude with the 2025 CCS Women's Tennis Championship Final on Saturday, April 26, where the two semifinal winners will compete for the conference crown.

ABOUT THE COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE OF THE SOUTH (CCS)
The CCS is an NCAA Division III athletic conference that began play during the 2022-23 academic year. The conference features nine member institutions (Agnes Scott College, Asbury University, Belhaven University, Covenant College, Huntingdon College, LaGrange College, Maryville College, Piedmont University, and Wesleyan College) and sponsors championships across 14 sports. In addition to sharing the member institutions' geographic identity, the name 'Collegiate Conference of the South' is indicative of a shared commitment to academic excellence, which is commensurate with the NCAA Division III philosophy.
