HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Agnes Scott took a critical doubles point for the second-straight match, and it once again proved the difference, as they downed Stevenson (2-2) by a final score of 4-3 in their first action of the Spring Tennis Fest event in Hilton Head, South Carolina this afternoon.

The Scotties (2-2) quickly raced to big leads the #2 and #3 doubles positions, as the team of Taylor Hendley and Feliz Pearson blanked their Mustang opponents, 6-0, to put the Scotties in an advantageous position. Sophia Dumitru-Rose and Jasmine Ziller quickly put the Scotties on top with the doubles point, as they also took down Stevenson, 6-0, at the #3 position. For the second straight match, Stevenson's top pair was victorious, as Emma Clayton and Ariella Stepleman took our the #1 pair for Agnes Scott, Kennadi Reese and Katherine Cox, by a score of 6-1.
