FORT VALLEY, Ga. - The Scotties of Agnes Scott College fought hard yielding a 3-1 decision this evening to the Wildcats of Fort Valley State University.
Agnes Scott started the first set strong with securing the first eight points to take a early 8-0 lead. Fort Valley State came from behind in each of the first two sets to record 25-22 and 25-16 wins. The Scotties (0-8) of Agnes Scott College took a 16-16 match and netted the next five points and held on for the 25-22 third set victory. The fourth set favored the Wildcats as they scored 13-straight points for a 20-5 lead, before the Scotties added four additional points with FVSU coming away with the 25-9 victory.
Daisy Hooper led the Scotties with seven kills. Summer Davis and Jaeda Milner contributed four kills each respectively. Daisy Hooper also added three aces.
Taylor Carnley handed out 15 Assistant to go with five aces, and eight digs and two blocks. Alex Roquemore contributed three blocks.
ASC served up nine aces and 21 kills for the match.
