PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Agnes Scott College volleyball team battled with Pensacola Christian Saturday afternoon, but was unable to claim its first win of the season as the Eagles took the 3-0 decision.
In the opening set, Agnes Scott dropped the 25-16 decision as the Scotties tallied nine kills.
The second set was just as close as Alex Roquemore led the Scotties with four kills. Summer Davis, Daisy Hooper and Carmen all chipped in on the attack as Agnes Scott fell 25-21.
Set three was a close early, with Pensacola Christian owning a 10-6 lead. The Scotties continued to battle but the Eagles were able to close out the set at 25-18, and the match.
Roquemore paced the Scotties offense with nine kills, while Alecia Holmes-Terry added 11 digs. First-year Taylor Carnley added a season best of 16 assists for Agnes Scott.
