COLUMBUS, Miss. - The Agnes Scott College soccer team fell to the Mississippi University for Women 3-1 this afternoon on the road. 

The Scottie's grabbed a quick lead over Mississippi University for Women at the 8:09 mark to take a 1-0 lead at the half. The goal for the Scotties was scored by first-year Peighton Freeman her second of the season. 

Leading 1-0 in the second half, the Owls scored at 66:03 mark with a goal by Hannah Helms to tie the game. MUW scored another goal at the 75:45 mark to take a 2-1 advantage. The Owls added its final goal of the contest at the 78:35 mark with a goal by Adrianna Parsons to give Mississippi University for Women the 3-1 victory.  

The Scotties return to action traveling they will face Talladega College on Sunday at 1 p.m. (CST) in Talladega, Alabama.
