Box Score ATLANTA, Ga. - For the first time since the final non-conference game of the 2019 season, the Agnes Scott women's soccer team suffered a shutout defeat, falling 7-0 to the Oglethrope University Stormy Petrels on Wednesday evening at John P. Salamone Memorial Soccer Field.
The first meeting of the season between Agnes Scott (0-1) and Oglethrope (1-0) did not go as planned for the Scotties as they failed to score a goal in a game. Despite the loss the Scotties played very well as a team.
Agnes Scott fell behind early, allowing three goals in the first half and conceding advantages in shots (31-3) and corners (15-1).
Isis Franklin, Sabina Gentry and Megan Selecky led Agnes Scott with one shot attempt each respectively while the sophomore goalie Ashley Kopczyk only allowed seven (7) goals, 13 saves on 20 shots on goals.
