Box Score DECATUR, Ga.—Bailey Sipos' hat trick paced USA South West Division favorite Maryville College to a big win over host Agnes Scott on Saturday afternoon at Gellerstedt Field. Sipos scored twice in the second half after adding the second goal of the game in the 19th minute overall to secure the game-leading scoring.
Agnes Scott falls to 0-3 on the season, while Maryville remains unbeaten at 7-0 and 4-0 in conference action.
The Scots piled in seven goals before the break, including a last-second own goal off a Scottie defender, before settling for five over the final 45 minutes.
Sophomore keeper Ashley Kopczyk (Elgin, Ill.) made 12 stops for the Scotties in defeat.
Agnes Scott continues its 2021 campaign on Friday, March 12 with a quick road trip to Piedmont College for a 7 p.m. nightcap.
