DECATUR, Ga. - Defense was an issue for Agnes Scott College as they fell to Berea College in a 5-1 loss on Saturday afternoon. The Scotties moves to 0-9-2 on the season.

Berea College put up three goals in the first period against Agnes Scott College goal keeper Ashley Kopczyk and added two more in the second period. The Scotties scored their only and final goal in the second half when Peighton Freeman scored on an assist by Megan Selecky. 

Agnes Scott College midfielder Peighton Freeman was aggressive for the Scotties adding a goal and getting off nine shots against the Berea College defense. The Scotties were out-shot 17-to-15 by Berea. 

The Scotties will try to get back on track as they play host to Huntingdon College at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12 at Gellerstedt field.
