ATLANTA, Ga. - The Great South Athletic Conference announced the fall sports Players of the Week for events competed September 21 -27 and, after voting by the league sports information directors, Shikirah Dodson of Agnes Scott won the volleyball prize.

Senior Shakirah Dodson had a sensational week of play for the Scotties. With two wins this week, middle-hitter Dodson led the Scotties at the net against both Toccoa Falls and conference foe Wesleyan. In the three set win against Toccoa Falls, Dodson hit .444, had two digs, 3 solo blocks and 2 block assists. In the second three set win against Wesleyan, Dodson hit .750, had one assist and one dig. Dodson currently leads the GSAC in blocks per set with .94.
