DECATUR, Ga. - Agnes Scott College's Ashlyn Edwards was responsible for two goals early, as the Scotties (6-8) rolled past the Berea College Mountaineers (7-6) by a score of 4-1 today on the Scotties' home turf.

After several early scoring opportunities, Stephanie Hicks finally found the back of the net, driving in her own rebound for a 1-0 lead at the 14 minute mark in the first half.  Six minutes later, Edwards drove a ball behind the Berea defense which was misplayed into the goal for another Scottie score. Edwards would once again find the goal for the Scotties at the 39 minute mark, as Mackenzie Semrau fed a perfect ball over the defense and onto the foot of Edwards, who drove it into the right corner for a 3-0 lead.

In the second half, Hicks would play a role in another Scottie score, as she fed the ball across the field to Caitlynn Croft, who tallied the Scotties' final goal of the day.

The Scotties will return to action on Wednesday, October 21, as they host Judson College (Ala.) at 4:00 p.m.
