The Agnes Scott volleyball team fell to Piedmont College this evening in straight sets.

Piedmont took the first set 25-17. Agnes Scott held on in the second set tying Piedmont at 18-18, but the Lions eventually pulled away for a 25-19 win. The Lions followed up with a 25-13 win in the third set.

Senior Lauren Aikens once again led the offense with six kills (.385). Junior Natali Rendon added six kills with another four from sophomore Lexus Travis. Shakirah Dodson led with 17 assists. Senior Shelli Sherman led the defense with 15 digs.

The Scotties will return to action on Saturday at home as they face Salem College at 1:00 p.m. Admission to home games is always free.
