Box Score The Agnes Scott College soccer team defeated Huntingdon College this afternoon, 1-0 in double overtime.
Helene Somda led the Scotties in shots with 7 and 6 shots on goal, but it was sophomore Stephanie Hicks who scored the game winning goal on her only shot of the night in the 107th minute. Maddie Shaul, Yaritza Encarnacion and Ivy McIntyre each recorded one shot on goal.
The Scotties held the Hawks to just four shots in the regular period and zero shots in the two overtime periods.
Goalkeeper Sydney Holdstad played 107 minutes in goal and recorded two saves.
"This is a very solid win for us after we gutted it out for more than 100 minutes. It sets us up well moving into our next match against Rhodes" said head coach Rosie Davis.
The Scotties will return to action at home this Sunday as they face Rhodes College at 1 p.m.
