The Agnes Scott College soccer team lost to Berry College this afternoon, 1-3, in their second game of the season.

Junior Maddie Shaul scored the Scotties' lone goal off a corner kick in the second half. Sophomore goalkeeper Sydney Holstad had a season high of 12 saves.

"Berry is a tough non-conference opponent that has already notched several solid wins against formidable opponents, with our contest their fifth game of the year versus only our second" said first year head coach Rosemary Davis. "Overall, it was an improvement over last year's 4-0 loss. The team showed a very solid defensive effort with all players seeing minutes."

The Scotties return to action at home this Saturday as they face Judson College at 1 p.m.
