The Agnes Scott College soccer team fell to Sewanee University, 0-2, in their season opener this afternoon.

Sewanee's Shelby Mecksworth scored both goals for the Tigers. Sophomore goalkeeper Sydney Holstad played 90 minutes in goal for the Scotties and recorded six saves. 

The Scotties will return to action on Wednesday September 11 at Berry College in Rome, Ga.
