New tennis coach Jacob Meyer got his first win today in a home opener against Columbia College. Agnes Scott won two doubles matches and four singles matches.
Three time GSAC Player of the Year Rachel Storz and sophomore Alex Cadle won their doubles match 8-4. Junior Mariel Herrera and Senior Hannah Kraus battled out a tough loss in the second doubles spot 8-9 (7). And newcomers Claire and Anne Rinaldo won in the third double spot 8-4.
In singles play, Storz, Cadle, Kraus and Claire Rinaldo all won their matches while Herrera and Anne Rinaldo faced losses.
Agnes Scott will play again on Tuesday against Spelman College in Atlanta at 4 p.m.
