The Agnes Scott College soccer team defeated Wesleyan College today at home.  Agnes Scott won 2-0 improving their record to 3-8.

Junior Helene Somda scored unassisted in the first 12 minutes.  The two teams battled back and forth for the next 76 minutes before Agnes Scott scored again with a goal from Maddie Shaul assisted by Yaritza Encarnacion. Sophomore Sydney Holstad played 90 minutes in goal and netted seven saves including an impressive over the head save near the top post.

The Scotties will return to action on Sunday for the last home game as they take on Georgia Gwinnett College.  The Scotties will also recognize their lone senior, Keiran Flynn. The game is set to start at 2 p.m.
