Sewanee's Bess Goodman scored early in the first half on an assist from Jamie Samociuk.
Late in the second half, first-year Camila Hernandez headed the ball into the net with an assist from Anna Hernandez to tie the score 1-1.
After a goal-less overtime, Sewanee clinched the win early in the second overtime with a goal from Goodman and assist from Allie White.
First-year goalkeeper Sydney Holstad played 103 minutes for the Scotties and recorded five saves.
The Scotties will head to Emory University for their next game on Wednesday October 3 at 7 p.m. and will return home on Wednesday October 10 to face Huntingdon at 4 p.m.
