Box Score The Agnes Scott College soccer team traveled to Huntingdon College this afternoon and returned with their first tie of the season. The Scotties outshot Huntingdon 17 to eight but couldn't get any of those shots past Huntingdon goalie Jenny Burnash who had nine saves.
Seniors Clara Kienzle and Janelle Sourbeer had two shots on goal and Vicky Freyer, Stephanie Hicks, Helene Somda, Hallie Bates and Maddie Shaul each had one shot on goal. First-year Sydney Holstad played 110 minutes in goal for the Scotties and recorded three saves.
The Scotties are now 8-8-1 for the season and 5-3-1 in the conference and remain in second place behind Salem College in regular season standings.
The Scotties next game is a home game this Saturday at 1 p.m. and will include a recognition of Agnes Scott's six senior players. Admission is free and open to the public.
