DECATUR, Ga. – The Agnes Scott Soccer team dropped their home contest versus Salem College, 4-1, at Gellerstedt Field.
Iris Ray led the Scotties attack, taking three shots and came away with ASC's lone goal.
Minutes into the match, Darilyn Bonilla-Nieto scored back to back goals and gave Salem College an early 2-0 advantage.
Nearly 20 minutes later,
Iris Ray responded scoring the Scotties lone goal before intermission, 2-1.
Shortly after halftime, Darilyn Bonilla-Nieto put Salem College ahead, 3-1, followed by one more goal from Bonilla-Neto to take the 4-1 victory.
On the defensive end, goalkeeper
Ashley Kopczyk collected six saves in the loss.
Bonilla-Nieto led the way for Salem College scoring four times and collected seven shots.
Agnes Scott (1-4) will next travel to Montgomery, Alabama to open Collegiate Conference of the South play facing Huntingdon College. Friday night's (Spt. 23) matchup begins at 8 p.m.
