DECATUR, Ga. – On this afternoon, the Agnes Scott College tennis team despite the final outcome played well together but yielded an 8-1 decision to Covenant College at the Byers Tennis Courts.
Agnes Scott (1-8) entered the singles play falling to the Scots in doubles play. First year
Gor'Nese Turner was credited with Agnes Scott's lone point at No. 2 Singles defeating Jordan Lancaster in the tie breaker coming out on top 2-6, 6-4 and 11-9.
The Scots of Covenant College was able to take a3-0 advantage after double play. The Scots was able to take victories at the No.1, No.3, No.4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to cruise to take the 8-1 victory.
