DECATUR, Ga. – It wasn't the result Agnes Scott College tennis was looking for as the Scotties were dealt a 9-0 setback to Piedmont University in the teams' Title IX celebration game this afternoon.
 
First year Brandy Nalyanya (Aurora, Colo.) and Gor'Nese Turner (Leavenworth, Kan.) were shutout 8-2 at No. 1 doubles and sophomore Katiuska Toral Castillo (Columbus, Ohio) along with first year Leilah Lewinson (Lithonia, Ga.) were defeated by a score of 8-1 at No. 2 doubles.
 
Agnes Scott (1-7, 1-1 USA South) fell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles (Nalyanya), 6-3, 6-0 at No. 2 singles (Turner) and 6-0 at No. 3 singles (Lewinson). The Scotties were blanked 6-0 at No. 4 (Toral Castillo) and came up short at No. 5 singles (Gladstein) by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
