Greenville, S.C. — The Agnes Scott College (ASC) volleyball team closed out the Bob Jones University Labor Day tournament in Greenville, South Carolina facing Johnson University (Tenn.) falling 3-0 this morning.

The Scotties returned back to the court to close out the Bob jones University Labor Day tournament facing Johnson University (Tenn.) this morning.
 In the opening set, both teams would battle for the lead with Agnes Scott tying the score three times. JU when took at 15-8 lead on a attack error. From there, the Royals then cruised the remainder of the set with a 25-10 win.  
 Agnes Scott bounced back at the beginning of set two as the score remained close early in the set. The Scotties took the lead with a kill by Daisy Hooper while JU trailed 17-11. Johnson University battled back and closed out the set scoring six-straight points as they took set two 25-20. 
 In set final set, Jensen Davis made a kill for the Royals early on to take a 12-5 lead. Agnes Scott fought back but Johnson University continued to keep the lead. Although the Scotties mounted one last rally, Johnson University was able to take the 25-10 win in set three. 
 
Daisy Hooper had six kills in the match while Alex Roquemore, Carmen Ross and Taylor Carnley finished with two each. Taylor Carnley finished the match with 12 aces as the Scotties moved to 0-3 on the young season. 
 
Taylor Carnley was named to the All Tournament Team.
