Scotties Fall to Panthers and Mountaineers at the Berea College Tri-Match

BEREA, Ky. - Agnes Scott College volleyball team yielded a 0-2 decision at a USA South tri-match Saturday hosted by Berea College. The Scotties lost, 3-0, to the host Mountaineers and LaGrange College.

The Panthers snapped a six-match losing streak after securing a 3-0 victory over Agnes Scott. LC took the match by scores of 25-18, 25-20 and 25-23. Alex Roquemore and Daisy Hooper had seven (7) kills each to lead the Scotties. Taylor Carnley had her first double-double of the season with 19 assists and 18 digs, to go with two kills.

Berea downed ASC 25-16, 25-9 and 25-15. Alecia Holmes-Terry had 14 digs. Taylor Carnleyhad four kills. Alex Roquemore recorded three kills. Carmen Ross, Summer Davis and Daisy Hooper all finished with two kills for the Scotties.

The Scotties will next host Bob Jones University on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in Woodruff Gymnasium.
