The Agnes Scott Volleyball team lost to Brenau University in their first home match of the season this evening 3-1.

After losing the first set 25-13, the Scotties turned on the energy and won set two 25-21. Brenau retaliated with a resounding 25-6 win in the third set.  The Scotties tried to rally in the fourth set, but fell short 25-19.

Senior Lauren Aikens had 10 kills and sophomore Kayleigh McCrary added four kills along with two service aces. Libero Shelli Sherman led with 13 digs. Shakirah Dodson led with 19 assists and added 12 digs.

Agnes Scott will travel to Greensboro this weekend where they will play four matches over two day.

The next home game will be Wednesday September 10.  Admission to all home games is free.
