The Agnes Scott College volleyball team traveled to Toccoa Falls on Friday night where they defeated Toccoa 3-0. On Sunday, the team traveled to Demorest, Ga. where they faced Maryville College and Piedmont College.

The Scotties lost three straight sets to Maryville, 12-25, 13-25, 13-25. Agnes Scott junior Lauren Aikens had seven kills and two blocks.   Shelli Sherman had 17 digs and Shakirah Dodson added 17 assists.

Later in the day, the Scotties lost to Piedmont College 1-3. After taking the first set 25-21, the Scotties lost the next three, 18-25, 13-25, 18-25. Senior Morgan Bender led the team with 12 kills. Aikens was close behind with 11(.364%) and first-year Lexus Travis added nine kills. Dodson had 32 assists. Sherman added 17 digs and sophomore Natali Rendon added 15.

The Scotties will return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Macon to face Wesleyan College.
