The Agnes Scott volleyball team fell to the Scots of Covenant College this evening 0-3 (11-25, 19-25, 21-25).

After falling short in the first two sets it looked like the Scotties were making a comeback in the third set as they tied the Scots five times. With the score tied 21-21 in the third set, Covenenat rallied to get the last four points and closed out the match.

Covenant's Chelsea Van Dyk led the offense with 15 kills and a .444 attack percentage. Agnes Scott senior Morgan Bender led the Scotties with eight kills. Junior Lauren Aikens added seven. First-year Kayleigh McCrary made 11 assists for the Scotties with seven more coming from sophomore Shakirah Dodson. Sophomore Natali Rendon picked up 12 digs.

The Scotties will return to action at home on Saturday at noon as they face Judson College.
