The Agnes Scott Volleyball team defeated Wesleyan College this evening 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-17).

Senior Morgan Bender led with nine kills (.226). She also added two service aces and five digs.  Junior transfer Lauren Aikens added seven kills (.400) and three service aces. First-year Lexus Travis added six kills. Sophomore Briana Vannoy led with 15 assists. Sophomore Shakirah Dodson added 11 assists. Junior Shelli Sherman led with 18 digs and Natali Rendon added 14.

"It's good to have a win under our belt and at his point in the season we are remaining focused on our end goal of winning conference.  We want to continue improving our transition game and executing our offense as we look forward to the conference tournament" remarked head coach Catherine Geerlings.

The Scotties will return to action at home on Friday as they face Toccoa Falls at 7 p.m.
