The Agnes Scott College volleyball team defeated LaGrange College today 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-20). The Scotties are now 2-0.

Junior Morgan Bender (Chino Hills, Calif.) led the match with 14 kills. Senior Claire Brummeler (Powder Springs, Ga.) had 26 assists and five kills and Sophomore Libero Shelli Sherman (Kennesaw, Ga.) contributed 13 digs. First-years Natali Rendon (Dalton, Ga.) and Shakirah Dodson (Marietta, Ga.) also added five kills for the Scotties.

The Scotties will be back in action this weekend at the Greensboro College Invitational in North Carolina where they will face tough competition from Roanoke College, Greensboro College, Guilford College and Peace College. The Scotties return home on Tuesday September 11 at 7 p.m. against Covenant College.
