The Agnes Scott College volleyball team lost to Salem College in the Great South Athletic Conference semi-final match this afternoon. Agnes Scott won the first two matches, 25-20 and 25-16 but couldn't keep up for the remaining sets losing 18-25, 15-25 and 10-15 to give Salem the win and a chance at the Championship.

Junior Morgan Bender led the match in kills with 19. First-year Natali Rendon added 13 and Salem's Roslyn Nixon also added 13. Senior Claire Brummeler had 35 assists and sophomore Shelli Sherman had 19 digs for the Scotties.

Salem advances to the Championship game tonight at 6:30 p.m. and will face Huntingdon College.
