Box Score The Agnes Scott volleyball team defeated Huntingdon College this evening at home 3-1 (25-27, 25-17, 30-28, 25-21).
The night started off with a recognition of Agnes Scott senior Claire Brummeler. Brummeler has been a setter for the Scottie volleyball team for the past four years. Brummeler was also the team leader in assists in 2009 and 2010 and second on the team in assists last year.
Agnes Scott lost the first set 27 to 25 and struggled during the second set losing 17-25, but a pep talk from third year coach Catherine Geerlings set the Scotties up for a nail-biting 30-28 win in the third set and a 25-21 win in the fourth.
