Kenyon Generette-Oliver

Coach Kenyon Generette-Oliver joined the Agnes Scott tennis staff in the spring of 2020. In the Fall of 2023, he was promoted to Interim Head Coach for the 2023-2024 season, where he led the team to a first-round upset in the Collegiate Conference of the South Tournament, giving the Scotties their first postseason win in almost a decade. Soon after, he was named the newest head coach of the Scotties in the summer of 2024.

He came to Agnes Scott after serving as the head teaching pro with some of the top tennis clubs in the Atlanta metro, including Dunwoody Country Club and the Atlanta Country Club. Prior to those stints, he was a staff pro at the Capital City Country Club. He is Elite USPTA certified and has been teaching juniors for over 20 years.

He currently serves as a partner with the Universal Tennis Academy, which provides tennis instruction at a host of sites across the metro, including at the Byers Tennis Courts on Agnes Scott's campus.

Generette-Oliver is well known for his volunteer efforts in the Atlanta metro as well, hosting wheelchair tennis events and serving as a coach for a multitude of programs including at Druid Hills High School and the Ron Clark Academy.

A graduate of Mars Hill College in North Carolina, Generette-Oliver earned a degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism. He also earned minors in English and Economics. At Mars Hill, Generette-Oliver was a member of the soccer and tennis programs.

In his spare time, Kenyon loves hanging out with his friends and family. He loves tennis so much, he even plays while on vacation.
