2019-20 Women's Basketball
Biography
Why Agnes Scott?
I chose to be a Scottie because it granted me the opportunity to challenge myself academically, experience study abroad opportunities, and continue to play the sport I love.
Why Division III?
Being a Division III athlete is like no other. We do not have any incentives to play. We truly play from the heart and with our heart. As a Psychology major, there is a term, the overjustification effect, that explains when an external incentive decreases a person's intrinsic motivation to perform a behavior or participate in an activity.
