Kyle Erha joined Agnes Scott in the middle of the 2023-2024 season. His impact on the program was almost immediate, as the Scotties picked up conference wins over Wesleyan College and Covenant soon after his arrival.
Kyle was previously the women's basketball head coach at Bristol Community College in Fall River, Mass. In his one year at BCC, he helped lead them to the Region XXI tournament while coaching his point guard, Tieynna Yancey, to All-Region Honorable Mention recognition.
Prior to that, Kyle spent two years as the head coach of the Wareham High School girls basketball program in Wareham, Mass. and, before that, was the head coach of the Sturgis West boys basketball program in Hyannis, Mass. for seven years. In his time at Sturgis West, he led the team from a two-win season to state tournament appearances in three of his final four years while coaching numerous all-conference and all-Cape players.
Along the way, Kyle has coached players at all ages and levels, helping players develop their skills and their love of the game.
"I am beyond excited to have been given the opportunity to lead the Agnes Scott College basketball program. Throughout the process, it became more and more clear that my family and I have found the place we belong here at Agnes. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Richardson and Dean Martin for the opportunity to help build a program that is as special and unique as Agnes itself."
Kyle lives with his wife (Sarah), six-year-old twins (Maxwell and Holland), and two dogs (Olive and Watson) in Decatur.
