THOUGHTS FROM COACH CHRIS MADRIGAL
"The win feels great, but I'm really just happy for the players. They've been putting in the hard work in training and deserve the credit for their efforts. The team is excited. They earned this win. We want them to soak in this feeling and enjoy the moment. They know we still have a long season ahead and they're ready to get back to work this week. We've spent some time watching game film together over the past week. They're learning what they do well and what adjustments are necessary to compete at a high level. They were extra focused on their positional play leading up to today's match. They're eager to learn and make the slight adjustments needed to put themselves in better situations on the field. They did that today. We're super proud."
